Hi all,
I've sold my sgs i9000 and switched to iphone 3gs and i am more than happy now. iphone ui is really so smooth and things are cool. I recommend to switch to all android users that got fed up with bugs and lags.
I've purchased few apps yesterday and i wonder what happens if i switch to iphone 4 (or ip5) in the future? Will i have to re purchase them again?
Not at all. As long as you sync/backup your iPhone you'll be able to move them onto your new iPhone at any time. They are linked to the Apple ID that purchased them.

Tried to send you a pm, but your box is full.
Put me in line, if not first in line pending pics. I would like a machine of these specs. Consider me a serious buyer if there is no serious damage.

I had signed up a couple of days ago, and low and behold: I didn't receive a e-mail either. Oh well, I couldn't contain my excitement and went to the Apple website anyway! :D

You can now use the [Resolved] prefix in most forums to flag your own threads when the issue raised by the thread has been resolved, the question has been answered, the problem has been solved, or the equivalent. It's especially useful in the Mac Basics and Help forum.
The [Resolved] prefix does not mean that the thread is closed or that others shouldn't post, just that you don't consider the thread to be waiting for resolution of the issue, question, or problem. You can also think of it as a thank-you flag when you've gotten the help you needed. It doesn't make sense to use [Resolved] for certain types of threads, such as open-ended discussions and current events, so use it only where it's suitable.

Great! Now, how exactly would I do that? I'll have to find the official 4.3.2 IPSW file and then what? Do I use iTunes for it?

Thanks for the fast response.
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places (newegg, Amazon, Buy.com), but the Intel appears to be $50-100 more expensive than the M4.
Amazon & Buy.com are currently sold out (except for more expensive resellers) right now! Hope more come in stock soon.

Hi,
anyone coming down? Who wants to meet up at 7am (or earlier?).
I shall bring cookies for everyone, mcdonalds for myself and some water (trying not to drink to much :D)

I find often times the store makes the bundles. Pisses me off to no end. I do not mind if MS throws the game in for free but like you I hate bundles.
I know with the Wii it was the stores making the bundles making you buy all the extra games for it. After that I have noticed that they tend to do it more and more often so people will just settle and buy the bundles.

I feel your pain. I want the same thing.
The add-on keypads don't really do it for me no matter how nicely they integrate. It's not the same as a full size keyboard. Sure you get the numpad, but you still don't have proper cursor keys and 6-key pad above the cursors.

May Cpl Buckles rest in peace. The lack of respect for the WW I monument in Washington is a crime. I hope the national press has the respect to cover his funeral which should be at Arlington.

You have a loop. The "system" command is executed each time in the loop. So when you enter "Q" to exit the loop, all the commands are executed again. That's what the printf should have shown you.
So what happens when you execute the second system () call? I don't expect it to work. I expect it to overwrite the output of the first system () command.
I fixed how I exit the loop but overwriting was never a problem. The code that uses the file was not incorporated yet.
Here, if you're interested is the latest (and still growing version). Thanks for your help.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <string.h>
int main (int argc, const char * argv[]) {
// http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-basic?Ident=vega&submit=SIMBAD+search
char *star, *path, *simbad;
FILE *file;
star = (char *)calloc(30, sizeof(char));
path = (char *)calloc(250, sizeof(char));
simbad = (char *)calloc(250, sizeof(char));

Forgive what may be a newb question, but I'm a current Windows user thinking of going bi, OS that is... I'm surprised that Boot Camp doesn't seem to offer simple backup solution. Does anybody happen to know if Parallels will backup both Windows & Mac partitions.

My last thread was closed, I wasn't finished with my questions :(.
Please stop what you're doing and read the link I posted in your last thread. If you really want to have an intelligent, informed view on malware, you need to read this:
Mac Virus/Malware Info (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=9400648&postcount=4)
By the way, the article you posted refers to trojans, not viruses, which can easily be avoided with some common sense.

Umm. I think a new iPod Shuffle goes for 129. I don't know if many people will want to pay $9 less for a used one. Hey but I don't have one! Don't listen to me.
EDIT: Oh shippings free. GREAT DEAL!
It has never been plugged into the computer so it is brand new. I opened the box, and decided against it, I got a 512mb and decided not to keep this one.
